It all started with the challenge of anchoring a pavilion in the ground, and humans are lazy by nature.
Markspjutet AB was founded in 2020 by Joakim Fiedler, a native of Småland, who has worked with environmentally driven product development for over 30 years. Joakim, who was born and raised in Småland, is driven by the typically stubborn, frugal and resourceful Småland way of working. This permeates the entire FIEDLER SYSTEMS business today.
In the fall of 2019, Joakim hired a company to help him fix a pavilion in his and his wife Rose-Maries' garden. However, this would turn out to be easier said than done. Already now, the first idea for the ground spear began to sprout.
The original idea was to use a concrete plinth, but since it is a very slow and laborious method, the choice fell on a certain ground screw instead. To fix the pavilion, it was planned that four screws would be driven into the ground. One problem that immediately arose was that every time the screw hit a stone, it started to feed up soil instead of moving the stone away. This meant that the ground screw would not settle at the right height and angle, and it was therefore not possible to get the pavilion in the right place. To handle the ground screw, a large screwdriver and enormous effort were required from the installer, and after just over 2 hours, 4 screws were driven into the ground, but unfortunately not in the right place.

Joakim began to think and thought that this frustration for both the customer and the installer must be avoided. Is it possible to manufacture a ground foundation that is as solid and stable as a concrete plinth but significantly easier to use? The thinking was in full swing and after just over 4 weeks, the first prototype had been developed.
Since then, a lot has happened and today we are convinced that we have developed the fastest, easiest and most environmentally friendly ground foundation on the market. By completely rethinking how a ground foundation should look and function, we have managed to develop a much more flexible solution that works in all situations.

FIEDLER SYSTEMS accessories are two-piece. This means that they can be transported and stored with only 1/5 of the volume of what would otherwise be required. This makes our products both light and space-saving to transport. We think this is a good example of environmentally driven product development.
