The anchor increases both the tensile and compressive strength. The anchor is folded and inserted into the ground spike using Tool 40292. By pressing the tool until it reaches the bottom, the anchor is folded out to the sides of the ground spike.

In soft ground, the combination of Anchor plus Fixing Plate can increase the tensile strength by more than 100%.
